In cases of cancellation due to adverse weather conditions announced by the Halong Bay Management Board, the following policies apply:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (if no services have been utilized): A 100% refund will be issued.
- During the trip (if some services, such as transfer, lunch, day trip, or hotel in Halong, have been utilized): Charges will apply for the services used, and the remaining amount will be refunded.
- If a 2-night trip is shortened to 1 night: Guests will be charged for a 2-day/1-night trip plus any other services utilized, with the balance refunded.
The final refund amount will be confirmed by the consultant via email. For urgent assistance, guests should contact the cruise operator directly.
- Children below 5 years old: Free of charge when sharing all services and bedding with parents.
- From 02 children under 5 years old: The second child will be charged 75% of the adult rate when sharing a bed with parents.
- Children from 5 to under 11 years old: Will be charged 75% of the adult rate when sharing a bed with parents.
- If two children under 11 years old occupy a separate room: The double room rate will apply.
- If one child under 11 years old occupies a separate room: The full adult rate (100%) will apply.
- Children from 11 years old: Are charged the same as the adult rate.
Guests have the option to arrange transfer services from their Hanoi Old Quarter hotel to Halong Bay, either through BestPrice Travel or the cruise company, for an additional fee. These high-end limousine or private car services feature modern amenities such as complimentary water bottles and phone chargers. Pick-up from Hanoi Old Quarter hotels is scheduled between 08:00 and 08:30, with a journey time of approximately 2.5 hours to Halong Bay.
For guests arranging their own transport, arrival at No.26, Tuan Chau Harbor, is required before 11:30 for check-in procedures and transfer to the Rosy Cruise. Upon return, the shuttle limousine will transport guests back to their Hanoi Old Quarter hotel, with an estimated arrival time between 15:00 and 15:30. Travelers wishing to proceed to Cat Ba Island instead of returning to Hanoi should inform the cruise in advance; a small boat will then transfer them to Gia Luan Port.
