Your adventure begins in Hanoi with a convenient hotel pickup, followed by a transfer to the railway station in the evening. At 9:00 PM, you'll board an overnight train bound for Lao Cai, departing at 10:00 PM. Settle into your private cabin for a restful night's sleep as the train travels north.
Upon arrival at Lao Cai station around 6:00 AM, your local guide will greet you. A private car will then transport you on a scenic 38-kilometer journey, taking approximately 1.5 hours, up winding mountain roads to the charming town of Sapa. After checking into your hotel and enjoying breakfast, the morning is yours to relax or explore at your leisure.
Following lunch, you'll drive down into the picturesque Muong Hoa Valley. This area is renowned for its stunning terraced rice fields and offers opportunities to encounter various ethnic minorities. The drive leads to Lao Chai village, a settlement of the H'mong people. From there, you'll embark on a local path, continuing your trek to Tavan village, home to the Day ethnic group, identifiable by their distinct customs.
After approximately 9 kilometers of trekking, your private car will be waiting at a designated meeting point to transfer you back to your accommodation in Sapa for the evening.
