After breakfast, your guide will meet you around 8:00 AM for an exhilarating motorbike tour of Hanoi's most significant landmarks. Begin your cultural journey at the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first national university, which showcases traditional Confucian architecture. Continue to the unique One Pillar Pagoda, an ancient Buddhist temple known for its distinctive lotus-shaped structure.
Next, observe the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from the exterior, the revered resting place of Vietnam's revolutionary leader (note: closed on Mondays, Fridays, and from June to August). Conclude your historical exploration at the serene Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda, situated by the picturesque West Lake, admiring its majestic design and peaceful ambiance. Afterward, a jeep will transfer you back to Sapa town, from where you'll take a shared limousine bus around 2:30 PM for your return journey to Hanoi. After breakfast at your Hanoi hotel, a driver will pick you up around 8:00 AM for your transfer to Halong Bay, a renowned UNESCO World Heritage site. Upon arrival at the pier between 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM, you will board your chosen cruise ship and begin your exploration of this magnificent bay. A delicious lunch featuring fresh seafood will be served as you glide through the breathtaking landscape of towering limestone karsts.
The afternoon offers a variety of engaging activities, which may include discovering hidden caves, kayaking through serene waters, or swimming in the refreshing sea, depending on your cruise's specific itinerary. As the day progresses, around 5:30 PM, return to the junk boat to participate in Happy Hour, watch a spectacular sunset from the sundeck, or join a Vietnamese cooking class to learn local culinary secrets. A delightful dinner will be served on board, followed by a peaceful overnight stay amidst the bay's tranquil beauty.
Start your second day in Halong Bay with an early morning Tai Chi class on the boat deck, or simply enjoy the serene sunrise over the bay's iconic landscape. As the cruise makes its way back to the main dock, a brunch will be provided.
Between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM, you will disembark from the cruise and bid farewell to the crew. A driver will then pick you up and transfer you back to your hotel in Hanoi, allowing for some time to relax. In the evening, our driver will take you to the train station to catch an overnight train to Da Nang, providing a unique travel experience as you head south.
Upon your arrival in Da Nang around noon, a driver will meet you and provide a transfer to your hotel in Hoi An for check-in. After settling in and refreshing, prepare for an exciting culinary adventure. At 3:00 PM, your guide will meet you to begin a local food tour by motorbike, offering a unique way to explore Hoi An's cuisine and culture.
The gastronomic journey starts at a renowned local restaurant where you'll sample Hoi An's distinctive dumplings. Next, navigate a small alley to a hidden eatery for a taste of Bun Bo, a popular beef noodle soup. Rejuvenate with a cool cup of traditional Vietnamese coffee before heading to the peaceful Tra Que Vegetable Village to admire its lush fields under the sunset. Continue to try iconic dishes like Banh Mi, Banh Khot, and the adventurous Balut. Later in the day, you will be transferred to Da Nang Airport to catch your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, a driver will be waiting to take you to your pre-booked hotel. After checking in, you can unwind and prepare for the next phase of your Vietnamese journey in the bustling southern metropolis.
After breakfast at your hotel, embark on a morning tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extraordinary man-made marvel and a pivotal site from the Vietnam War.
