Hanoi to Halong Bay & Thien Canh Son Cave
Morning (08:00 - 08:45): Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (if shuttle service is booked) for a comfortable 2.5-hour journey to Tuan Chau Cruise Port. (11:30 - 11:45): Arrive at Tuan Chau Cruise Port, where Grand Pioneers staff will greet you. Enjoy a welcome drink and cruise briefing before checking into your luxurious suite on Grand Pioneers II. Lunch will be served in the restaurant as the ship begins its journey through Halong Bay towards Bai Tu Long Bay.
Afternoon: Visit Thien Canh Son Cave, a remarkable cave offering awe-inspiring formations of stalactites and stalagmites. Guests on the Legacy Journey can enjoy kayaking in the serene waters near the cave. Afterward, relax onboard with leisure activities like massage services, swimming pool access, movies, 3D golf, billiards, or the kids' club. From 17:30, enjoy a Sunset Party with Happy Hour (buy one get one free) and canapés at the Sky Bar.
Evening: Indulge in a delectable dinner featuring Western and Vietnamese dishes. Afterward, unwind in your suite, enjoy a spa treatment, try squid fishing, or socialize at the poker club, cigar and wine lounge, karaoke club, sky bar, or pool bar.
Exploring Bai Tu Long Bay's Pristine Beauty
Morning: Witness a breathtaking sunrise over Bai Tu Long Bay. Start your day with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck or a workout at the onboard gym. A light breakfast will be served in the restaurant. Today, the Legacy Journey takes you to some of the most spectacular and pristine areas of the bay. Visit Da Xep Nature Park, an outdoor geological museum showcasing formations that have existed for over 320 million years. Continue to the secluded Cay Bang Island, known for its golden sands and tranquil scenery.
Lunch: Enjoy a Vietnamese set menu lunch onboard, savoring authentic local flavors. The afternoon allows for further relaxation on board or optional activities as the cruise continues its exploration of Bai Tu Long Bay.
Evening: A buffet dinner will be served, offering a diverse array of dishes. Enjoy the evening entertainment options, including traditional music performances, magic tricks, or simply relax and enjoy the serene atmosphere of the bay under the stars.
Halong Bay Views & Disembarkation
Morning: Enjoy a final light breakfast onboard as the cruise makes its way back towards Halong Bay. Take in the mesmerizing beauty of the bay one last time. Around 09:30, guests will proceed with the check-out process and settle any outstanding bills. A delicious buffet brunch will be served as the ship sails back to Tuan Chau Marina.
Late Morning: Bid farewell to the Grand Pioneers Cruise and its crew upon disembarking at Tuan Chau Marina around 10:45. Transfers will be arranged for your return journey to Hanoi (if booked).
Afternoon: Arrive back in Hanoi around 14:30 - 14:45, concluding your luxurious Legacy Journey.
