Lang Co – Vietnam's Most Scenic Beach Lagoon

Lang Co is a slender beach peninsula in Thua Thien Hue Province, nestled between the southern slopes of the Hai Van Pass (Cloud Pass, the most dramatic mountain coastal pass in Vietnam) and the blue waters of Lang Co Bay. The peninsula has a pristine 10-km beach facing the South China Sea on one side and a calm, reed-fringed lagoon on the other. The Hai Van Pass drive (or motorbike ride) between Da Nang and Lang Co is considered one of the most scenic in Southeast Asia – made famous by Jeremy Clarkson on BBC Top Gear. Lang Co is often a lunch stop between Hue (65 km) and Da Nang (30 km).
