About This Cruise
Day 1: Hanoi to Tuan Chau Port, Luon Cave & Titop Island Exploration
Morning pickup from Hanoi Old Quarter or Hanoi Opera House for transfer to Tuan Chau Port. Upon arrival, guests will be transferred to Hermes Cruise for check-in between 12:00 and 12:30. A buffet lunch is served onboard as the cruise sails into the heart of Halong Bay.
In the afternoon, the cruise visits Luon Cave, a picturesque sea cave perfect for a one-hour kayaking session. Afterward, proceed to Titop Island, offering a pristine beach for swimming and relaxation, or an ascent to its peak for panoramic views. As evening approaches, a Sunset Party with fruits and snacks is held at Hermes Sky Bar, alongside a 'Happy Hour' (buy 2 get 1 free drink) and optional massage services. Guests can also join a Vietnamese cooking class at approximately 18:30 to learn how to make spring rolls.
Dinner is a European set menu served in the onboard restaurant. The evening offers free time for relaxation, socializing, or trying night squid fishing with the crew.
Day 2: Trinh Nu Cave, Me Cung Cave & Bay Exploration
The second day begins with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck, followed by breakfast. The highlight of the day is a visit to Trinh Nu Cave (Virgin Cave), known for its unique shape and captivating legend. Guests can also enjoy swimming and kayaking in this secluded area.
Later, explore Me Cung Cave, a dry cave celebrated for its maze-like structure and narrow passages, offering a deeper understanding of Halong Bay's geological formations. The day includes three full meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with the dinner featuring Oriental cuisine. Evening activities include a cooking class, night squid fishing, and a sunset party.
Day 3: Tai Chi, Sung Sot Cave & Return to Hanoi
The final morning begins with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck at 6:30, followed by a light breakfast. Guests will then embark on a guided walk through Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave), admiring its vast chambers and intricate stalactites and stalagmites.
After the cave visit, return to the cruise for check-out before 9:30. A final buffet brunch is served as the ship leisurely sails back to Tuan Chau Wharf. Disembarkation occurs between 10:45 and 11:00, with the shuttle bus or private car transferring guests back to Hanoi Old Quarter, arriving around 15:00.
