Cruise Itinerary
Hanoi to Lan Ha Bay Cruise Experience At Sea
Morning pick-up from Hanoi (optional, additional fee) at your hotel in the Old Quarter or a designated meeting point (8:00 - 8:30). Arrive at Lot 34, Tuan Chau International Port (11:30 - 12:00), where the Peony Cruise crew will welcome you. After a tender transfer to the cruise, receive safety guidelines and check in. As the cruise sails through Lan Ha Bay, a delicious lunch is served in the onboard restaurant.
In the afternoon, discover the Tra Bau area. Enjoy kayaking to explore unique cave formations and admire the natural beauty of the area, including glimpses of a floating village (approx. 1.5 hours). Return to the cruise to witness the sunset over Lan Ha Bay. Participate in a cooking class to learn traditional Vietnamese dishes with the master chef, followed by 'Happy Hour' with savory cocktails. The evening concludes with a romantic dinner in the restaurant.
Night activities include enjoying the nightlife from the top deck, drinks at the bar, and squid fishing. Overnight on Peony Cruise.
Lan Ha Bay Exploration & Return to Hanoi
Start your morning with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck as you watch the sunrise over the bay. A light breakfast with tea, coffee, pastries, and traditional pho or bun ca is served at the restaurant (mealtime may vary).
Next, take a tour of Trung Trang Cave within the Cat Ba Biosphere Reserve, exploring its mysterious ecosystem and natural rock formations. Around 9:30, check out from your cabin and enjoy a light lunch at the restaurant while the cruise returns to port. Settle any incidental fees at the reception desk. Guests will disembark at Tuan Chau International Port between 10:30 - 11:00.
An optional shuttle bus will pick you up for the return journey to Hanoi. Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be transferred to the Hanoi Pearl Hotel for your overnight stay.
Hanoi Pearl Hotel Departure
Enjoy breakfast at the Hanoi Pearl Hotel. Depending on your onward travel plans, you will have free time until your check-out from the hotel. This marks the end of your 3-day Peony Cruise and Hanoi Pearl Hotel package.

- Cancellation due to bad weather (announced by Halong Bay Management Board):
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (no services used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): Used services will be charged, the rest refunded.
- If a 2-night trip is cut to 1 night: Guests will be charged for a 2-day/1-night trip plus other used services, with the remainder refunded.
